In Our Beauty
Logline:

As a group of women stage the first ever domestic workers’ pageant in the UK, their joyful journey leads them to discover the deeper meaning of beauty and community.

"Filipino women taking care of British homes and families are invisibilised, hidden behind closed doors and precarious immigration status. As an Indonesian migrant, I feel a tender affinity to these women and feel honoured to be bringing their stories to light. I am grateful and excited to be part of this lab, to learn from incredible filmmakers and shape the project in a such a caring and collaborative community".
